We are proud of our Burfield Academy uniform and believe it encourages children to take pride not only in their appearance but also in the whole school community.

Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
- Green Burfield Academy V-neck jumper or cardigan* / Plain green school jumper or cardigan
- White polo shirt
- Grey shorts or trousers
- Grey skirt or pinafore
- Green & white summer dress (from term 5)
- Black school shoes (not trainers, sandals or boots)
- Grey, black or white socks
Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6
- Green Burfield Academy V-neck jumper or cardigan* / Plain green school jumper or cardigan
- White shirt with a collar
- Burfield Academy tie*
- Grey shorts or trousers
- Grey skirt or pinafore
- Green & white summer dress (from term 5)

PE Uniform (Reception – Year 6)
- Green Burfield Academy V-neck jumper or cardigan* / Plain green school jumper or cardigan
- Plain white t-shirt
- Plain black shorts, jogging bottoms or sports leggings
- Plimsolls or trainers
Please note, PE kit is worn in place of school uniform on your child’s PE day.
All children are required to have a water bottle with them every day and have access to fresh drinking water to top this up during the day.
Burfield Academy book bags* are recommend for EYFS and Key Stage 1. Our cloakroom space is very limited so we ask any additional bags are appropriate in size.
Jewellery (hoop earrings, bracelets, necklaces, decorative head bands or hair pieces) are not to be worn in school. Jewellery other than small and discreet stud earrings, is not allowed in school and earrings must be removed or covered for PE in compliance with Health and Safety guidance.
We ask that all clothing is clearly named so that it can be located and returned quickly if it is mislaid.
